Steph's story

When Steph launched We Love Pets High Wycombe in 2020, alongside business partner Lydia, they were both ready for a change - not just in career, but in lifestyle too.

Steph had spent years working full-time as a musician in a fast-paced, creative industry. While she loved the creative side of her work, the unpredictable nature of the industry and constant pressure eventually made her question whether it was sustainable long term.

She wanted something different - a career that still gave her independence and freedom, but with more balance, purpose, and control over her future.

Lydia brought valuable business experience, having run her own business previously. Together, they knew they wanted to build something of their own, in an industry they felt genuinely passionate about.

Why franchising felt like the right fit

Starting a business from scratch can feel overwhelming, even for people with strong professional experience.

Today, Steph runs We Love Pets High Wycombe on her own, turning over around £7,000 a month, helping local pet owners while spending her days doing meaningful work she genuinely enjoys.
